Mileage Correction
What is Mileage Correction?
Mileage correction can be performed on most vehicles that use digital mileage displays. If the unit is replaced or becomes faulty, mileage correction will be required to restore the original value using special equipment.
Reasons for Mileage Correction?
Instrument Clusters which brand new unit it will be delivered with zero mileage and will require programming to the correct value. If you have purchased a second hand unit it will have higher or lower mileage and will require correction also. We can provide correction for your mileage and also reset your service indicator to the desired interval. Some vehicles such as Citroen suffer electrical faults which can cause corrupt data and a false random value upwards of 500,000 miles.
Is the mileage stored in multiple locations?
This is dependent on your vehicle. The majority of vehicles store the mileage within the Instrument Cluster only. The remaining store the mileage in 2, 3, 4 locations such as ECU, body control unit, alarm module and even the car keys.
Being the UKs leading mileage correction company you can be sure of a professional job being carried out on your vehicle. We specialise in the newist and latest models which virtual cockpit TFT clusters most cannot do corrections on these as theyre so new and theres barely any solutions or tools that cover them but try us we will come up with a work around for sure for you even if the car is just a year old.
Ecu Remapping
What is ECU remapping?
Engine or ECU remapping on 2001 onwards cars is carried out by simply updating the software on the ECU, achieved by downloading then uploading the ‘tuned’ software either through the OBDII diagnostic port, or using direct to ecu flashing method on some newer Tri-core compatible ECUS.
When ECU remapping you’re modifying the software in order to achieve better performance, whether it be for more power or better fuel economy, as well as improving emissions the overall drive.
The vehicle ECU, controls many different aspects of the engine, such as spark timing and fuel injection. The ECU may also control electronic throttle control, valve timing, boost control (in turbocharged engines), speed governor and the electronic stability control system.
ECU remapping is the process of adjusting these parameters to optimize engine performance, resulting in higher performance both increasing BHP and torque whilst improving mpg. Customised files for a particular vehicle do not alter the other diagnostic parameters that are set by manufactures and all diagnostic trouble codes(DTC’s) remain unchanged.
Cars fitted with a turbo charger or supercharger will have the boost threshold increased, with dramatic gains if the standard turbo boost is low PSI. All modern engines can be tuned in this way whether naturally aspirated or turbocharged, both petrol and diesel versions. Turbo charged versions generally experience the greatest gains though.
We are master tuners 20 yrs experience unlike alot of other remapping companies who are working as slaves with limited capabilities. Theres no restrictions with our work and our maps are opensource we can even give you a copy of your cars original map file if you need it too.

DPF Removal - Diesel Particulate Filter A Service
A DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) also known as FAP on some French vehicles, is a device fitted to the exhaust system of modern diesel vehicles to reduce particulate emissions and meet European emission standards. It does this by trapping Soot from the exhaust gasses while letting the gasses flow through the system. As with any type of filter a Particulate Filter needs to be cleaned regularly to function properly. With DPF's this is done by a process known as Regeneration which involves a combination of a Catalyst function in the system and burning the soot to gas at a very high temperature leaving behind an Ash residue within the DPF.
Problems with your DPF?
Warning lights on your dash?
'Limp home' mode?
Poor acceleration & MPG?
Facing expensive repair costs?
PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED WITH DPF
If regeneration doesn't function properly it leads to a build up of soot affecting performance and fuel economy, left unattended this will result in a Blocked DPF which can ultimately cause very expensive damage to other engine components. A blocked DPF is also potentially dangerous as it can cause overheating in the exhaust system and cause a fire risk. To prevent this damage most newer vehicles will go into 'Limp Home' safety mode at this stage, meaning the vehicle will have reduced power to protect itself
